The Brief
This 4,500 sq. ft. holiday home on a golf estate was designed for a family that travels often, and wanted their getaway to carry a little of everywhere they've been. The challenge was making a house full of global influences feel like one home, not a collection of souvenirs.
The Approach
The common areas set the tone — bold seating paired with organic materials, and a reclaimed wood horse sculpture standing as the room's natural focal point. In the dining area, a solid reclaimed teak table with rust-toned accents does something similar, while the kitchen takes a quieter, European approach with green cabinetry and exposed timber rafters overhead.
The Details
Each of the four bedrooms carries its own theme — Rajasthani, Italian Tropical, Boho, and Mint & Rattan — and every piece of furniture in the home was custom-designed and made to order. The project was later featured in Elle Decor.
